A few months before we were set to kick off work with BMW USA, the brand was hit with a 1 billion dollar lawsuit. While this lead to significant budget restrictions, our work for BMW was a masterclass in turning constraints into creative opportunities. We adopted scrappy approaches to the work such as light painting, shoots that leveraged natural light, and other tricks to produce compelling visuals. Our crowning achievement was launching 'The BMW Pit Crew,' a social-first series that brought year-round holiday cheer and became a key strategy in maintaining engagement with BMW’s audience, proving that creativity flourishes under pressure and even when $$$ might not be what you thought it was.
